The good folks at Bioware are making games faster than I can play them. My Steam account tells me that I played Dragon Age for an embarrassingly long period of time, and that was just with the stuff that was available when it first came out. Even with the enormous amount of time I spent fighting the Darkspawn and avoiding bisexual elf sex, I did not do anywhere near everything that could be done in the game.
In addition to the DLC available on launch day (Warden’s Keep and The Stone Prisoner), there has been a relentless torrent of new content for the game, including Return to Ostagar, Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana’s Song. Not to mention a full expansion pack Awakenings. Despite the fact that no productive citizen can possibly have played all of this material, Bioware has announced yet another set of downloadable missions.
The Golems of Amgarrak, is a high-level quest “For even the most experienced adventurers”. Players will explore the Deep Road to find a missing dwarven expedition and can import their character from the original game or the Awakenings expansion. Golems will be fought, along with a creepy new monster.
“The Golems of Amgarrak” is available now and costs five dollars. Maybe if enough of us buy it, they’ll quit making DLC and finally let us get some sleep.
