Fallout: New Vegas just launched this week and Bethesda has already promised a patch to fix the bugs reported by numerous players. Befuddled players have uploaded several YouTube videos of New Vegas containing moonwalking dogs, floating enemies, and characters with Exorcist-style spinning heads, all the result of glitches.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines announced that the company is currently working on patches for all versions of New Vegas and that additional information on the patch is “forthcoming.”

Bethesda Developing Fallout New Vegas DLC

Fallout: New Vegas, releasing tomorrow, has already had DLC announced for it. I quite enjoyed Fallout 3 but so far have been very skeptical on New Vegas. The fact that they’re planning on releasing DLC for New Vegas (that is developed by Bethesda) shows a certain amount of confidence in their product which could mean it’s better than Obsidian’s (the developer of Fallout: New Vegas) last game, Alpha Protocol.

Super Meat Boy Review

The whole “Your princess is in another castle” stigma is hardly revolutionary. Yet after all these years it still perfectly fits as a way to propel our hero from level to level. New Vegas: Obsidian’s Jackpot?

Fallout: New Vegas might just be the most important game ever for developer Obsidian Entertainment. It’s certainly going to be one of their most high-profile games, but New Vegas is also their best opportunity in years for their talents to shine through.

If you’re reading this than you’re probably already familiar with Obsidian’s origins, how it’s comprised of members of Black Isle Studios, the guys who made the first two Fallout games and a couple other really great PC RPGs in the late 90s and early 2000s. If you don’t know that story, feel free to check out my feature last week on the origins of the Fallout franchise here. I see this article as a companion piece to that, building off so

Kinect Now Couch Ready

What can we say about the Kinect? It sees you when you’re sleeping. It knows when you’re awake. However up until recently it had no clue if you were sitting on your couch. Yes, the Kinect apparently had a bit of trouble knowing the difference between you and the couch if you were sitting on it. However the software has been changed so that the base node used for determining your size/shape can now separate you from your couch.
