Atlus, developers of such hits as Persona 4, Persona 3, and
Devil Summoner, has finally unveiled that their newest title, Catherine, will
be released in North America. It was fairly inevitable that the game would come
to NA but that doesn’t make this announcement any less sweet for us Atlus
lovers out there. Catherine has been released in Japan for only a few weeks.
Gunner Wright, the voice of Isaac Clark in Dead Space 2 is interested in
playing Mr. Clark once again. This time in a Dead Space film. Gunner
has said that he is ready right now. In an interview with helldescent Wright says, “I feel like we already shot a film, one that you can play. As for DS2
live action, I already have the plasma cutter so lets roll camera…give
the heart wrenching romantic tear jerker to someone else.”
De Blob 1 was an interesting game upon its Wii only release. It was a very pretty, colorful Wii only game with very little depth or substance, and the sales numbers showed that. De Blob developers Blue Tongue Entertainment have decided to expand their colorful game onto the Xbox 360 and PS3 with the latest installment de Blob 2 in hopes of better sales numbers. Will this risk pay off? I don’t know what the answer will be but I know what it should be.
You start off de Blob 2 as de Blob (obviously) and you realize that… the gray guy… made things gray. Or something. Story is by no means an integral part to the de Blob experience. It’s mostly just a means to deliver cute little cutscenes that usually involve a blob getting hurt. After all the towns are gray, you must embark on your journey to suck up color and paint the town with your body.
One of the most prolific sites for the Xbox community has officially called it quits. MyGamerCard.net was once used by over 5 million people to display gamertags proudly on pages around the internet. Morgon, the developer and founder of the site blames Microsoft itself for the downfall of the site.
What a month for games. It seems like there’s one you should pick up every single week this week. But which one will be the most anticipated?

I’ve always had a fondness for the Fight Night games in my heart. They deliver consistent hard hitting games, and that was only further proven with their last installment in the franchise, Fight Night Round 4.
Microsoft
had an Xbox Press event today in San Francisco to announce details of
upcoming games and future DLC. Here is all that was announced:
Gears of War 3
will have a public multiplayer beta in mid-April that will give you the
first chance to play the new game. The beta will include three versus
modes and four new maps. The game is set to launch this September.
New Halo: Reach map pack titled “Defiant.” The map pack will be on sale March 15th for 800 Microsoft Points. The map pack will contain three new maps called Condemned, Highlands, and Unearthed.
Bejeweled Blitz Live is a port of Bejeweled Blitz for Facebook and PC. Popcap games have come up with some very exciting and addicting games like Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle. But do they have the ability to take their formula for match three gaming and make them fun and addicting again? Are they able to make the player feel like he is experiencing something new and not just throwing out another version of Bejeweled?
As soon as you start up Bejeweled Blitz Live you will notice how the game is geared more towards multiplayer. The game supports up to 16 player party mode, where all the players play at the same time on their own board. The person with the highest score wins at the end of the round. At the time of this review I was not able to find an online multiplayer match. I could not even find a quick match to join. Luckily there is local battle where two players go head to head to see who can get the highest score. The local battle is fun as long as you are playing against somebody that is not new to this version of the game.
