Dungeon Fighter Online Coming to XBLA

Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO),
an already established title on the PC, is
heading its way to Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) later this year. However,
unlike the PC version, you’ll have to break out your digital wallet for
it. On the PC, the title is similar to another Nexon developed game, Maple
Story
, where the client is free, the gameplay is free, but you can always
pay for accessories to add to your character. Some
might be cosmetic, but others can give you stat attributes. Although it might
be tempting to gear-up your character for a few bucks, it’s not required and
you can still play without the extra threads.

Capcom Clarifies Resident Evil Rumors, Gives Details on New Title

Earlier this week we reported on a story from Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that Capcom was working on enhanced versions of both Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Capcom has come out and released official details, saying that they will not only be released separately, but will be downloadable titles through Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and will include the extra content that was once exclusive to their PlayStation 2 releases.

Mafia 2 Directors Cut (Not Game of The Year) Edition Appears

Mafia 2 Directors Cut just showed up on amazon.com.  There has been no official statement by 2K games but you can usually bet on these unannounced Amazon postings to be legate.  The director’s cut features 3 additional story packs and 4 car and clothes packs included with this package.

More than likely the story packs are Joe’s Adventures which follows the character Joe Barbaro who is best friends with Vito Scaletta, who is the main protagonist in Mafia 2.  Jimmy’s Vendetta pack contains more than 30 new quests where you play as the character Jimmy.  You also get The Betrayal of Jimmy where you will once again play as Jimmy and will offer new locations.  With each story pack running $10.00 when they are not on sale.

WWE All Stars Preview

WWE All Stars is WWE and THQ trying to venture away from the hardcore wrestling fans that they dedicate their Smackdown vs. Raw franchise to and trying to be a bit more kid friendly focused. From the gargangeous models of the wrestlers to the fun juggling of characters that you can sometimes do, one thing is for sure, WWE All Stars is silly.

One More Delay for Duke

Developer Gearbox Software and publisher 2K Games announced today that the upcoming release of Duke Nukem Forever is being pushed back from May 6th to June 14th in North America and a June 10th release in other countries.

You Could Be on the Cover of Madden

Each year the discussion of who will appear on the cover of the annual iteration of the lead EA Sports franchise, Madden NFL Football, seems to escalate. It’s gone from an announcement of the athlete, to an announcement of multiple candidates, to a fan vote with multiple candidates, and now, taking a cue from March Madness, we’ve reached the point where the fans will be voting based on a 32-player bracket.

The list of players covers all NFL teams and includes such notables as Super Bowl-winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the reigning champion Packers, to the controversial QB from the Eagles, Michael Vick.
