The true believers at Visceral Games have shown their loyalty to the Unitarian Church by releasing new multiplayer levels for Dead Space 2, so that players can once again ascend beyond our human bodies and become glorious necromorphs, all the better to annihilate those infidels who like to play as humans in Dead Space 2 multi-player.
I had heard a lot about Shadow Complex
by the time I had bought my second Xbox 360. I had not really played
many downloadable titles, but I knew I had a “thing” for side-scrolling
action platformers, and knew that it would be a worthy purchase
alongside Super Meat Boy. I didn’t have great hopes for it,
although in hindsight I’m not sure why, it really embodied a lot of
things I enjoy about the infamous “Metroidvania” phenomenon. I was pleasantly surprised by a great game with a solid story and beautiful graphics.
“You can have this game for fifty bucks, but for sixty, I’ll make it slightly less enjoyable”. That’s not a good deal, but that’s what has been offered to gamers with many titles released in the last year or so.
Dragon Age: Origins and it’s 2011 sequel are both critically acclaimed and commercially successful games, so it has always been speculated that the Dragon Age series will be a trilogy. Therefore, it’s not much of a surprise that Bioware is creating a third game in one of their most popular series, and revealing the staffing for it in the process.

Co-op gameplay is certainly nothing new in the gaming world, however, it is very rare that it is executed as well as in Portal 2. Even taking aside what it did right, it smartly avoids several mistakes that other games do not. For me, one of these is actually supporting local coop which is getting very rare these days. Saving individual progress for the player while integrating that into a co-op session is also something that you don’t see a great deal of either. However, it isn’t these things that make the experience what it is, nor is it the superbly polished mechanics, it’s the way the game makes you feel while playing cooperatively that makes it stand out from everything else.
Electronic Arts, and Japanese developer Grasshopper Manufacture promise to enlarge your Johnson with their new game Shadows of the Damned. And, just for the record, the game’s protagonist calls his gun Johnson, and they’re talking about in-game power-ups. If you thought I was talking about anything else, you have a filthy mind.
