In what is possibly one of the most unlikely crossovers in recent gaming history, Square Enix has announced that Commander Shepard’s N7 armor from Mass Effect 3 will be available as DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2. The DLC will be available in Japan for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on Tuesday for $4. The company has yet announced if the DLC will be available stateside, but it seems very likely that it will be.
Details have surfaced on Splinter Cell: Retribution. According to Ubisoft Toronto studio head Jade Raymond, the action that the franchise is known for will make a comeback, but it will also explore a mysterious theme at the root of the franchise.
Starting April 18th Xbox Live Arcade will launch one hot new game every week, right through May 9th. The month-long event is being touted as XBLA “Arcade NEXT” and will include MINECRAFT: XBOX 360 EDITION, plus Fable Heroes, Trials Evolution, and the Celtic slaughterfest Bloodforge.
