Some great news today for Android owners! Though it was not expected until early next year, Microsoft have rolled out the Android version of their Xbox 360 second-screen SmartGlass application.
Launched on Friday for Windows users, it lets Xbox 360 owners use their Android device to control new dashboard features such as Internet Explorer, as well as acting as a remote, a keyboard and offering second-screen enhancements to select games such as Forza Horizon.
In a surprising move, the early Android launch for the service puts Google's OS one step ahead of even Microsoft's own Windows Phone 8 operating system, that won't launch until early next month.
