It is highly likely that all questions will be answered at the Spike TV Video Game Awards on December 11th. Until then, we only have a very shorter teaser clip, but the fact that it includes a man in a hooded sweatshirt and creatures similar to those from the first game is a good indication of what may be coming. New Assassin’s Creed to Hit Next Year

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has only been out for a little over a week and Ubisoft has already announced they are preparing a fourth installment of the series for release next year.

This announcement, reported by MCV, comes close on the heels of Brotherhood’s European release, where it sold over one million copies in less than a week. This makes it Ubisoft’s fastest-selling game in Europe and one of its biggest global franchises.

Geoffroy Sardin, Ubisoft’s marketing and sales chief for Europe, Middle East and Asia, declared Brotherhood as the best launch in the history of the company’s European sales. He also chalked up the game’s success to the fact that Ubisoft “transformed the brand from a single player one to a multiplayer one.”
