Metro Last Light Teaser Trailer

Metro 2033 was far, far from a perfect game. In fact, as far as pure gameplay goes, it wasn’t even a particularly good game. However, it set new standards for the level of detail and immersion that is found in shooters. There was a truly pain staking level of attention paid to absolutely every part of every environment and every item in the game. While by no means a hit critically or commercially, Metro 2033 certainly found a loyal following.

Detective Chuck “Knuckles” Battersby awoke face-down on the floor of his office.  A bottle of gin and a broken Xbox controller were next to him, lying motionless like a pair of cheap whores.  He’d passed out after two weeks trying to unlock every achievement in Rockstar Games’ LA Noire.  His hangover was the toll to pay for too many nights spent on the case instead of in bed where any smart fella would be at four am on a Monday.  But he’d done it.  Solved every case the scofflaws of virtual LA could throw at him, and handed a beatdown to every mug that had it comin’.  Finally he could turn off the Xbox and get some sleep.

Gears of War 3 Campaign Trailer

This seems like the full version of that teaser that showed up not too long ago. The first thing that jumps right out at you is the improvement on the technical front, Gears 3 looks a lot better than the previous games and the shots of the campaign show off some amazing things that we didn’t see in the beta. That annoying general from Gears 2 is back and so are the Carmine clones, but hey, with the good always comes the bad.

Monolith are confirmed as the developer for Gotham City Impostors, a download-only first person shooter where players fight for control of Gotham City. The game will supposedly have an exaggerated take on first person shooters – Take that for what you will, but I think it’s safe to assume kill streaks won’t be found anywhere.
