Metro 2033 was far, far from a perfect game. In fact, as far as pure gameplay goes, it wasn’t even a particularly good game. However, it set new standards for the level of detail and immersion that is found in shooters. There was a truly pain staking level of attention paid to absolutely every part of every environment and every item in the game. While by no means a hit critically or commercially, Metro 2033 certainly found a loyal following.

He’d passed out after two weeks trying to unlock every achievement in Rockstar Games’ LA Noire. His hangover was the toll to pay for too many nights spent on the case instead of in bed where any smart fella would be at four am on a Monday. But he’d done it. Solved every case the scofflaws of virtual LA could throw at him, and handed a beatdown to every mug that had it comin’. Finally he could turn off the Xbox and get some sleep.
With an insanity-causing mug that only a mother could love Cthulhu returns in an updated version ofCthulhu Saves The World. This version which is officially titled Cthulhu Saves the World: Super Hyper Enhanced Championship Edition Alpha Diamond DX Plus Alpha FES HD – Premium Enhanced Game of the Year Collector’s Edition (without Avatars!) boasts several additions that will have players glued to their seats and wanting more after every dungeon.
This seems like the full version of that teaser that showed up not too long ago. The first thing that jumps right out at you is the improvement on the technical front, Gears 3 looks a lot better than the previous games and the shots of the campaign show off some amazing things that we didn’t see in the beta. That annoying general from Gears 2 is back and so are the Carmine clones, but hey, with the good always comes the bad.
OK, yeah so who didn’t see this coming right? But like most things associated with the recent entry in the Mortal Kombat franchise, this little piece of news is awesome for anyone who wants to komplete their kopy of Mortal Kombat.

Dragon Age: Origins and it’s 2011 sequel are both critically acclaimed and commercially successful games, so it has always been speculated that the Dragon Age series will be a trilogy. Therefore, it’s not much of a surprise that Bioware is creating a third game in one of their most popular series, and revealing the staffing for it in the process.
Electronic Arts, and Japanese developer Grasshopper Manufacture promise to enlarge your Johnson with their new game Shadows of the Damned. And, just for the record, the game’s protagonist calls his gun Johnson, and they’re talking about in-game power-ups. If you thought I was talking about anything else, you have a filthy mind.
Monolith are confirmed as the developer for Gotham City Impostors, a download-only first person shooter where players fight for control of Gotham City. The game will supposedly have an exaggerated take on first person shooters – Take that for what you will, but I think it’s safe to assume kill streaks won’t be found anywhere.
Robot Entertainment, the developers of the Orc genocide slaughterfest Orcs Must Die, are slowly revealing the arsenal of traps and gadgets that player will use in their upcoming game. Today they unveiled the Wind Belt with a video that show how the power of the wind can be used to kill the horde of stupid little monsters invading your castle.
