Following the release of Segas action role playing games Phantasy Star Universe for Xbox 360 in late 2006, Sega opened its servers last week in a beta test for 41,500 players, who connected online and could play up until level 30. The games producer, Satoshi Sakai explained that this was a new record for one of Sega’s longest running action RPG games. The full game will be released later this year for PC, with cut down versions available for iOS and Android later this year and a PSP Vita release expected early 2013.
