To say that 2012 has been pretty bare on the release front would be quite the understatement. While there has been some DLC and a few interesting titles released, the release front has been a little barren.
But do not fret my friends, because this week, we are blessed with the release of three big titles, which come in the forms of Soul Calibur V, NeverDead, and Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Players can probably take a good guess as to what they will get out of Soul Calibur V and Final Fantasy XIII-2, but NeverDead also looks to be an interesting and new IP by Konami. The gist of the gameplay in NeverDead is that your character is, you guessed it, immortal, and must use a system in order to recollect limbs that have been severed in combat. There are also plans to have a companion (who is not immortal) that you must protect by taking damage in her place. Yet this week only marks the beginning, as next week brings Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, The Darkness 2, and the Jak and Daxter HD Collection.
With the dry spell of games almost over, which games are you most looking forward to getting in the coming weeks?
