Wii Fit Personal Trainers at Trump Hotel

Wii Fit may or may not actually be that great as an actual fitness routine. Some claim to have achieved health benefits, at least in part, due to Nintendo’s fitness software.  Regardless of how effective it really is; Wii Fit is probably better for you than just sitting on the couch.

The Trump Hotel in Las Vegas offers their guests hour long gaming sessions with personal trainers… at a high price, stranger. The “Wii Sports Package” entails a personal trainer coming to your suite, giving you and your family private instruction on how to get the most out of our gaming experience with not only Wii Sports, but Wii Fit as well all for a reasonable $90.00.

Gears of War 3 Leaked Images

Those of you itching for some more Gears of War 3 teasers, fear not! Epic has heard your cries and leaked out some images.  Some of the pictures are of random scenery or combat, as well as a look at the cast of characters, including one that hasn’t been seen in either past games or the trailer that was shown not too long ago.  The graphics look top notch in these screenshots and I can’t wait to see the game in action.  Make sure to check back for more news and hopefully some real information.

Japan Sales Update

The PS3 always shows up on top in Japan, right alongside the PSP, so it was a bit of a shock when the Wii surpassed the PS3 just last week for second place. One week later found that the PS3 pushed the Wii back to its proper place on the Japanese charts.  There was no real reason for this sudden change, but apparently all of the consoles saw a slight drop in sales except for the Xbox 360.  This could be because of the fact that Bayonetta is bundled along with Forza 3 on the 360, both of which are hugely popular games in Japan.

Hideo Kojima Comes To The States

If you’re a big Metal Gear Solid fan, then the name Hideo Kojima needs no introduction.  Well, if you’ve been dying to meet the man who brought you all of your favorite video games, then you can meet him in person as he goes around to both L.A. and N.Y. with the release of the newest installment in the series.

While Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is set to release on June 8th, Kojima will be in New York on June 11 at the Uniqlo from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and later at the Best Buy in Union Square from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  No worries for anyone all the way across the country! Kojima will be on the West Coast June 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the GameStop in Universal Citywalk.  If you’re in the middle of the country I would suggest walking now, or taking a plane, whatever is easiest.

Each strategy guide will cost $20 standard, just like the books. To celebrate the first set of game guides, though, there is a sale for $10 a guide.

Final Thoughts on the Halo: Reach Beta

The Halo: Reach Beta has finally ended its near two-week stint on Thursday, which is a day after Bungie originally planned. The beta introduced a slew of new mechanics to make it feel fresh and exciting, but fortunately it retained everything that made Halo what it is known for today. Having said that, there are still issues I have with the game that go far beyond the glitches and minor issues one would expect to come with a beta.

For the record, I’m a very avid Halo player. I’ve been playing since the first Halo, and I became a “General” in Halo 3 a little over a year ago. I also enjoy playing some of the non-serious games created in Forge such as Jenga, Duck Hunt, and Sumo Wrestling. I’m saying this in hope that my credentials may align with some of people who didn’t get the chance to play the Beta. Keep in mind I am giving my opinion on everything.
