Deus Ex Prequel Delayed

As if waiting for 8 years for a proper prequel to the revolutionary Deus Ex franchise is not enough, Square Enix will insist that you wait a little bit longer. The highly anticipated prequel Deus Ex Human Revolution was originally scheduled to release on March 8, 2011 but has been delayed for Square Enix to give it an extra coat of polish. As of now Square Enix has not announced a release date. We could possibly see this game creep into the 2011 holiday season to possibly help Square Enix increase their ever shrinking profit margin.

Indie Game Review: Snailien Invasion

Do you remember a PC game from back in the day named Liero? That experience has just come to the Indie Games section of Xbox Live in the form of Snailien Invasion from Manly Games. Section 8: Prejudice Has A Ludicrous Price

Section 8: Prejudice, announced a few months back, has now received a “ludicrously low” price.

“There may be something strange in the water down here in Texas, or perhaps TimeGate Studios’ CEO, Adel Chaveleh, has gone completely mad, but the award-winning independent developer and publisher has revealed that Section 8: Prejudice,a sequel to the full-priced Section 8, will be available exclusively as a digital download on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC for just $14.99 / 1200 Microsoft Points. PSN and Store Releases 12/15/10

As with last week, not much in the way of new store releases this week. But, there are some good games out on Playstation Network. PROTOTYPE is a solid game with a strong story, and LittleBigPlanet – Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves will give those waiting for LBP2 a little more Sackboy to keep them going. Also, the re-release of the old X-Men arcade game will provide some good nostalgic gaming for those who remember it.
