The PS3 has posed quite a challenge to hackers since its release. Thanks to a solid OS and numerous firmware updates (hey, at least they’re good for something,) Sony has managed to keep would-be hackers at bay. For years, it seemed as though the PS3 was a puzzle that the modding community would never be able to fully crack. But last month, all of that changed.
First off, how much of a treat is this game for anyone who loves Pac-Man (and generally anything awesome). Why did nobody think of doing a Pac-Man game in this fashion before, taking obvious notes from recent arcade hits this is easily the definitive version of Pac-Man. Unlike the old classic that we know and love, this one comes with significantly more levels, which granted; wouldn’t be hard. However, which ones are the best and why? Munch’s Oddysee was released for the original XBox back in November of 2001, and has just now been ported to the PC. So, how does an XBox launch title hold up on the PC, nine years since its release? Unfortunately, not well, and certainly not as well as the rest of the games in the Oddworld series.
If you’ve grown tired of fantasy and scifi-themed MMOs, you can now try a new strategy MMO about pirates. Picaroon is the latest game by UK Developer Nicetech who previously brought us the long-running space strategy game Time of Defiance. Their new game is set in a Waterworld-esque future where dry land is rare, and humanity battles to control the remaining islands.

Capcom has announced that Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 will be arriving in
The game will be released on the PlayStation Network at a price of $14.99. The first Bionic Command Rearmed was a remake of the original 1988 NES title, and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is set to feature many of the elements from the first remake but will also contain some new gameplay mechanics, new weapons and a multiplayer mode.
Capcom announced on their Unity blog earlier this week that Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 will be jumping its way onto Xbox Live Arcade on Feb. 2. Or at least it would be jumping, if your character could- oh, wait, he can jump in the sequel. Never mind.
For those unfamiliar with the series, the ability to jump is actually a big change for the series. In the first Rearmed (and the original NES Bionic Commando it was based on), the only way to move vertically was to use Nathan “Rad” Spencer’s bionic arm to grapple ledges and hooks above the character. Rearmed 2’s developer, Fat Shark, has promised in earlier previews that purists will be able to navigate the game without ever touching the jump button if they do not want to. Rearmed 2 will be a direct sequel to the first Rearmed and will set the stage for the plot of the 2009 360/PS3 entry in the series, which was titled simply Bionic Commando
