New Command & Conquer Studio

Fans
of RTS may be happy to know that a new studio will be reviving the
Command & Conquer
franchise and that a new installment is being planned. The studio
named “Victory Games” has been created by EA to develop the next
game and will have three offices. These offices will be located in Los
Angeles, Austin, and Shanghai. According to Jon Van Caneghem
,
GM of the new studio, t
he
name is derived from what players see at the end of a good match, and
is very fitting for the branch-off company. This news should be very
exciting for fans of the iconic franchise, especially after the
release of
Command & Conquer 4—which
was given mostly negative reviews last year. Nevertheless, Victory Games aims to redeem the C&C name and will hopefully
develop a game that reignites the genre.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (Xbox 360) Review

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a game that I thought would never
exist, particularly after the complex legal wrangling caused the relationship
to bottom out for awhile. Luckily for us, their want of money is greater than
their hate of exceedingly long contracts and licensing fees. The latest entry
looks to take the franchise to new heights while inviting new players to enter
the fray against seasoned veterans.

The blog was updated by Greg Goodrich who is the Executive Producer of Medal of Honor. He stated that Medal of Honor has sold over 5 million copies since its release last year. He goes on to say, “Since our launch last October, we’ve studied, listened and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title.”

Greg also says that Danger Close is thankful for all the support the players have given them. They have also received feedback from current military servicemen and women thanking them for how accurate Medal of Honor is to what is happening in the world today.

Console Exclusives We Want on PC – Marvel Vs Capcom 3

These days most PC gamers have powerful rigs that can run Crysis with ease and although loads of companies are moving towards multi-platform development PC gamers are occasionally left out of options when it comes to playing a particular game on PC. Sometimes the game’s PC version is cancelled a month before release and in others the game doesn’t get a PC version at all, despite being perfectly suited for that platform, but in all cases PC gamers are left glaring at console gamers, wishing that they could be playing that brand new title on their dedicated gaming PC.

Men of War: Assault Squad Preview

Men of War (MoW) is a very deep, difficult and
satisfying RTS that alternates between moments of jubilation and frustration. Co-developed
by Digital Mind Soft and Best Way, MoW is based on the early parts of
World War 2, allowing players to take control of authentic weapons, infantry
and tanks from each side of the conflict. With such control (down to the type,
and amount of ammo, fuel or weapons each soldier or tank was carrying) it
became an exercise in micromanagement, especially when granted dozens of units
to oversee at once. MoW: Assault Squad is one of several stand-alone expansion
packs that are on track to be released in the near future.
