Dragon’s Dogma is a new IP from CAPCOM and is set to arrive some time in early 2012. The game is no small production,
with over three years of planning it is currently in its second year of
development, and CAPCOM will be hoping that it will stand up to their other
large franchises such as Resident Evil
and Devil May Cry.
The only two new PS3 games
arriving in stores this week are both family orientated. The first is the singing
and dancing Move game Michael Jackson: The Experience, and the
second is a multi-player party game based on the new animated film
It seams that Steam has a malfunctioning AI core running amok, because some sort of malevolent GeneticLifeform and Disk Operating System has gone crazy and prematurely released special Portal 2 material for a couple of games made by Tripwire Interactive; Killing Floor and The Ball.
The Apocalypse is nigh, and in reality, the last thing you
would think of doing is grabbing yourself the most powerful vehicle you can get
your oil-liquored mitts on and blast through the most devastated metropolis on
the planet. However, despite how outrageous this premise may seem, Motorstorm:
Apocalypse goes with it anyway, and with it, delivers some of the most intense
and chaotic racing to ever grace the Playstation 3.
Motorstorm: Apocalypse is the first in the series to pry
away from natural environments of the previous titles. With the first
Motorstorm in the large-scaled desert environments, and Pacific Rift on an
exotic island, Motorstorm: Apocalypse drops you into an urban location, whilst still
maintaining all the breathtaking beauty and visuals of a typical Motorstorm game.
However, with this beauty lies utter anarchy and jaw dropping destruction,
something that Motorstorm obviously takes a lot of pride in.
There’s
no doubt that the dedicated staff of Sucker Punch studios have been
hard at work putting the finishing touches on Infamous
2 and preparing the game
for launch this June. This week, the team has rearranged their
Bellevue offices and tidied up in preparation for the 60+ press
members who will be attending their Media Day for the game. During
this event, the guests will be given a studio tour and be shown the
latest Infamous 2
media and content. If the weather permits, the staff and development
team hope to arrange an outdoor interview session and an evening
event that will showcase a few of the game’s highlights. As for
public eyes, the company has released a virtual version of the day’s
spoils in a series of new videos and screenshots.
