New Call Of Duty DLC Exclusive to Xbox – For Now

Settle down, eventually, it’s going to come out for PC and Playstation 3 too, but the new Call of Duty Black Ops DLC is going to start out as an Xbox exclusive.  Which begs the question, is this sort of stunt actually going to sell more Xboxes?  Are there Call of Duty fans so hardcore that they’ll ditch their Playstation 3 and run out and buy an Xbox just to get some DLC a couple of weeks early?  Well, someone certainly hopes so, because the new pack, Annihilation will hit Xbox Live on June 28th leaving PC and Playstation owners pining away.

Reasons Why Duke Nukem Forever is Awful

Well, aside from the obvious 14 year development time, which meant that they probably had to essentially start from scratch about three times, there are some core elements of Duke Nukem Forever that aren’t merely out-dated; they’re just plain bad. The arrival of Duke Nukem Forever has sparked a lot of debate, people are defending it and others are ripping it apart, but all I want to do is highlight the main things that made it a failure as a first person shooter in 2011. PS3 including all three of the original Devil May Cry games with a
release date of November 20th and some box art seeming to back up the
legitimacy of the listing, but was later pulled for undisclosed
reasons.
On the cover below, which was recently proved a simple mockup, it is clearly seen that the collection will be released in
celebration of the 10th anniversary of the series with the original
game having been released in October 2001.

Steam Begins Support for Free-To-Play Franchises

Valve has finally made headway on the microtransaction and DLC frontend that they added nearly a year ago, with five free-to-play franchises being offered on Steam.  Spiral Knights, Forsaken Worlds, Champions Online, Global Agenda, and Alliance of Valliant Arms are all now available on the Steam platform for free.  Microtransactions are handled via Steam’s DLC service, eliminating the need to give your credit card out to the developers themselves. This allows existing Steam users to feel comfortable paying for such content without having to worry about how that particular company handles its security.
