Has Battlefield 3 Already Beaten Modern Warfare 3?

The highly anticipated Battlefield 3 has already begun its quest to
become the best first-person shooter. According to GameStop insider HipHopGamer, Battlefield 3 has a higher number of pre-orders than that of Call of Duty: Modern
Warfare 3
.
Both have gamers on the edges of their seats awaiting their arrivals. Each of
these games can also be arguably considered the best and most popular first-person
shooters to come out in a long time.
Developers of both do not deny that the other is a good game, but sales and the gamers themselves will be what
really determines the best game. Battlefield
may simply have more pre-orders because of its earlier release date.

Namco’s New ‘Metro-Cross’ Reimagining!

will be the latest game remake in the Namco Generations games. Their goal is to not

XBLA Burnout This Fall

On July 7th Criterion games and Electronic Arts announced the release of Burnout Crash. For those of you that don’t know, Burnout is a racing game with a twist. You can choose a wide variety of vehicles to race, ranging from heavy ones to light ones. The lighter vehicles are obviously faster but can get thrown into the air a lot easier. In this game, the primary goal is to make your opponent go flying into the air and crash in many different ways.

Best PC Games of 2011 (So Far)

This year got off to a great
start with Dead Space 2 standing
out in January as an early contender for Game of the Year.  Yet, the following months fizzled with
highly anticipated games like Dragon Age 2 disappointing fans, while critical
darlings like L.A. Noire stubbornly refused to appear on PC until later this
year.  Fortunately the PC indie
scene coughed up a couple of great games in the first half of this year, giving
PC gamers something to tide us over until the blockbuster glut in the fall.  Our PC Department of
Fergus Halliday, Ari RunaninTelle, Jonathan Gann and Charles Battersby panned
the river of mediocrity to find the Three Best Games of 2011 (so far).

Bethesda Reveals Dishonored

What happens
when you take a guy who worked on Half-Life 2 and a guy who worked on Deus Ex?
No idea myself but the potential outcome might be amazing.
Revealed in the latest issue of Game Informer is a title
going by the name of Dishonored,
being developed by Bethesda. The two big names associated with its
production are Harvey Smith, who was a key figure in the creation of the
original Deus Ex,
and Viktor Antonov, who worked as a designer on Half-Life 2 but is specifically known for the
creation of the iconic City 17 local.
