Driver: San Francisco, developed by Ubisoft Reflections, puts you in the role of John Tanner, undercover cop and protagonist from nearly every Driver game in the series. The open world setting is San Francisco, as the title notes, and is complete with the city’s landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge.
Ever since I finished the iOS version of Episode 1 of Hector: Badge of Carnage back when it was a brand new release, I’ve been awaiting the next chapter in the story of the crude but amusing Inspector Hector. While the PC re-release of the game was certainty good, it’s only intensified my desire to play the next episode in the series and now that desire has finally been sated by the release of Hector: Badge of Carnage Episode 2 – Senseless Acts of Justice.
Today on the final day of Halo Fest, 343 industries announced The Reclaimer Trilogy, the next three games in the Halo series. Halo 4 is a direct sequel to Halo 3, the final installment in the trilogy that made Master Chief a force to be reckoned.
While console players will be getting their first real taste of the
action Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has to offer, it is looking to
be business as usual for experienced PC players. The gameplay hasn’t
changed much since CS1.6 and CS:Source. You still have Terrorist v.
Counter-Terrorist matches and inventory is still purchased with cash
earned based on your performance each round (kills and victories).
As the East Coast is brutally pummeled by hurricane Irene, those smug jerks on the West Coast seem to be having all the fun at PAX Prime. This three-day nerdfest is just bristling with gaming news, including a new batch of screenshots for Mass Effect 3 that show Commander Shepard’s new weapons, companions, and some of the new enemy types too.
After taking out a full page add in the Wall Street Journal and
proclaiming that PC gaming is very much alive, Razer unleashed the new
Blade onto the world at PAX. The Blade is Razer’s new 17 inch high
performance gaming laptop. The sleek design is achieved through an
aluminum chassis that weighs less than 7 pounds and is 1 inch thick.
While Razer is most notably known for high grade PC gaming accessories,
the company has stepped up their game with this new gaming laptop.
If you’re on the East Coast, you probably spent your gaming budget this week on canned food and bottled water, so you couldn’t afford to pick up Deus Ex Human Revolution at its fifty dollar launch price. Well, lucky for you, the PC Downloadable version of the game is already on sale at Amazon.
