Skyrim Game Jam reveals possible Ideas for future DLC

Bethesda’s latest video release has left Skyrim players across the globe ecstatic. In the video, Todd Howard, creative director of Bethesda, shows us footage from their Skyrim game jam; a week of fun in which developers get together and experiment with new ideas for Skyrim. They were given just one task: “Do what you want, and put it in the game”. You can see what they got up to in the video below.

Digital High Episode 26 & 27

The Darkness 2 Review

While The Darkness 2 is a direct sequel to the original from 2007, it’s important you know that it’s a very different type of game. The original had an almost adventure game type structure and simply labelling it a first person shooter was quite misleading, while you do indeed shoot guns from the first person perspective, The Darkness was obviously more concerned with its story and characters. However, while The Darkness 2 offers quite a different experience than that of its predecessor, everything that made the first game great has been preserved for the sequel and The Darkness 2 manages to deliver on all fronts for returning fans and change enough to (hopefully) draw in anyone who didn’t warm to the original.

What a day it is for Xbox owners who are eager to find out more about the Xbox port of The Witcher 2.  A new Dev diary hit the internet, along with a teaser video that shows gameplay of this “Enhanced Edition”.  PC gamers will also want to take a look at these videos too because they’re getting an update to the PC version of the game which will have all of the additional content for the Xbox.

Mass Effect Coming to iPhone, Again

Hardcore Mass Effect fans might remember the stinging regret they felt three years ago if they played Mass Effect Galaxy which came out for iOS in 2009.  Critically-panned and quickly forgotten by fans, this was nothing more than a quickie tie-in game.  But that doesn’t seem to be the case for the new Mass EffectiOS game, Mass Effect Infiltrator which is due out soon.
