It’s going to be a busy weekend for gamers, with Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier having its beta test this weekend, and now Blizzard has thrown open the floodgates with an open beta for Diablo III.
Whilst Trials HD was a phenomenally popular game, Trials Evolution is looking to be even more popular. Players may have noticed error messages being displayed whilst trying to access the games leaderboards, caused by an overwhelming amount of new users all trying to access them, resulting in server crashes. Over 100,000 downloads have now been reached since the game went live. Developer RedLynx released the following statement:
“We apologise for the inconvenience, and obviously we’re working closely with Microsoft’s backend team to improve the situation and prevent this sort of thing from happening again.”
