Torchlight II is the second edition from the developer Runic which was founded by Diablo co-creators Max and Enrich Schaefer. The other game is Path of Exile. Path of Exile is a free-to-play (F2P) action role-playing game that was inspired by the fact that some of its creators thought that the Diablo series had “strayed too far from its roots” and they wanted to create a game closer grounded with those roots. It looks like one way or the other it’s hard to talk about action-RPGs without mentioning Diablo.
