Naughty Dog stoped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night as part of Video Game Week to showcase the highly-anticipated The Last of Us and provide additional details on its release.
I for one was very excited to hear that there will once again be a new addition to the Sims community! The latest announcement for the EA franchise was the upcoming expansion pack: The Sims 3 Supernatural. Fans of the game will be able to get their hands on the new pack September 30th 2012.
The game industry is brutally competitive. There’s a lot of money to be made, for sure, but for a small developer to get their share of that money can be a big challenge. Kaos Studios originally entered gaming with the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942, and later made their first full game in Frontlines Fuel of War, a moderately successful shooter. However they got into the big time with 2011’s Homefront, a story-driven shooter set in a future where America had been conquered by Korea and players had to join a rag-tag rebellion that fought against an occupying force on American soil. What was their reward for creating this opus of speculative fiction? They went out of business a few months after Homefront was released.
As we know, Skyrim: Dawnguard is the new DLC available soon. Well, the first waves of fans wanting to try out the beta were disappointed, when only half of one percent was able to join!

To all you greedy devils out there, Blizzard’s Diablo III had its real money auction house (RMAH) go live on the 12th. Yes, you can now trade your hard-earned loot to other players for their real money. RMAH is a separate auction house than the in-game gold currency auction house. Not all of the items have been enabled as of yet for the RMAH, it’s basically only working for equipable gear as of right now. No gems, crafting essences, gold, blacksmith plans, or anything of the sort at the moment, only gear.
