In a rather bland, depressing outing, “Head Shots” reveals at last the identity of the child pornographer who might have Kallie. Ray Seward makes a friend on death row. Bullet works with Holder to reveal the location of the video tape, and Kallie’s mother Danette remains unconcerned about the location of her daughter.
NBC’s Hannibal has finally set events in motion leading to the ultimate showdown between Will Graham and Hannibal Lector. After weeks of trying to put together who the copycat killer might be, Will finally appears to be on the path towards enlightenment. Unfortunately, it looks like Abigail Hobbs might be on a different path, as Jack Crawford discovers her role in Garret Jacob Hobbs’ murders.
Don Draper is not having the best day in this latest episode; whie he is able to help someone he cares for, he gravely disappoints one of the most important people in his life. “Favors” is an episode that relies on the audience’s knowledge of the Mad Men characters’ pasts and how that affects their current behavior. Intriguing storylines and surprising developments make this episode the best of the season so far.

HBO’s Game of Thrones ends their third season with a surprisingly weak episode, one that elevates plot over characterization. While we see all of our favorites (Arya, Dany, Jaime, Brienne, Bran, Jon, Tyrion, Cersei, etc.) one last time, the episode is strangely sterile and devoid of emotion.
Jackie and Kevin are forced to deal with the fact that their daughter Grace has been using drugs. Jackie insists that Grace spends the day with her at the hospital, being exposed to all of the dangers that can come from drug use. Jackie makes a decision in the final moments to give up her girls to Kevin.
Linden discovers 17 additional victims of the serial killier and returns to the police force to help with the investigation. Holder finds an informant in Bullet, who leads him to Goldie, a pimp who may be involved with Kallie’s disappearance. Ray Seward takes drastic action in death row.
Eddie Izzard returns as Dr. Gideon and Will Graham finally succumbs to his perceived madness in Hannibal’s “Roti.” While the episode features excellent work by Hugh Dancy and Madds Mikkelsen, the episode is plagued by reliance on the tired trope of comparing Will with a killer.
The season finale of Revolution delivers a surprising final twist that opens a realm of possibilities for the show’s second season. Overall, “The Dark Tower” is an average episode of the science fiction series with predictable storytelling and conflict, but redeems itself in its insane, game-changing final minutes.
