The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards Winners

The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards are now history. The annual show honoring the best in primetime television programming from June 1, 2011 until May 31, 2012, was held on September 23, 2012 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles (CA). Mad Men did not get a fifth consecutive crown, but there was no earth shattering surprise. The winners were, just like the list of nominees, pretty much in the great Academy tradition. Homeland dominated the drama category and Modern Family crushed the competition in the comedy category.
