Transformers War for Cybertron Sequel Confirmed

High Moon Studios announced they will be making a follow up to Transformers: War for Cybertron. The sequel, entitled Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, continues the story of the Autobots and Decepticons and looks to darken the tone significantly.  When High Moon set about going to work on Fall of Cybertron, they really took the fan feedback to heart.  High Moon says they have made significant and fundamental changes to the game in developing Fall of Cybertron and feel it is "a natural successor more than a true sequel."


More details on the game will be coming out exclusively in November's issue of Game Informer so keep an eye out for that.  Game Informer recently posted its two covers, featuring Grimlock and a wounded Bumblebee. If you missed out on Transformers: War For Cybertron, the game received a lot of critical praise and turned out to be (according to many fans) the best video game foray into the Transformers license. Devoid of Michael Bay, War for Cybertron exercised the original licensed characters, keeping its story and style very close to that of the original animated series. Hopefully that holds true for the sequel .
