Toby Jones is the next star added to the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger as evil scientist Arnim Zola, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog. The cast currently includes Chris Evans as the title character, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, and Hugo Weaving as Red Skull.
Jones is perhaps best known for his role as Truman Capote in the film Infamous and his voice work in various Harry Potter films as Dobby the House Elf. He has received critical acclaim for some of his previous roles, including a London Film Critics Circle Award for his work in Infamous. He has an extensive and impressive body of work that spans many different kinds of films. The addition of Jones to the "Captain America" cast adds a certain amount of prestige to the project. Also, adding a superhero film to his résumé seems like a great way for Jones to be noticed by a different audience. Captain America: The First Avenger will begin shooting over in England this summer and is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011.
