EA presented its Summer Showcase on Thursday, bringing a slew of surprises and continued support for the company's current titles. Battlefield 3 is one of the games that will continue to provide content while fans of the series wait for the arrival of Battlefield 4. To keep fans engaged, EA announced three new DLC packs: "Armored Kill," "Aftermath" and "Endgame."
The first of the three DLC packs, which is also the game's third DLC to be released so far, will be arriving in September. "Armored Kill" will feature ATVs, mobile artillery and tanks, which will be useful as this map has been lauded as the largest map in Battlefield history.
In December, players will be able to get their hands on the second set of DLC, named "Aftermath." Set in Tehran, Iran, players will be fighting admist the aftermath of a devastating earthquake. Included in the DLC is four new maps, achievements/trophies, new dog tags and an additional game mode.
The last DLC, "Endgame," has a planned release for next March, with the inclusion of a new vehicle: motorcycles. New achievements/trophies, maps and other vehicles will be provided, as well. All packs will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and on PC via Origin.
