The Walking Dead Renewed for Season Six
"The Walking Dead continues to rise"
Good news Walking Dead fans! The show has been renewed for season six. With season five barely premiering on Sunday, it is good to know ahead of time that the show is set for another chapter. Now everyone can watch the season begin and end with ease.
Of course, The Walking Dead is one of AMC’s biggest hits so this isn’t much of a surprise. The story that follows a sheriff and his family of survivors has been such a success that it even received a spin-off. The spin-off has been revealed to follow another set of survivors in another part of the world.
Certainly it is too early to know the plot of season six or if there will be new cast members. However, executive Scott M. Gimple with producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert, and Tom Luse will continue to work for season six.
The Walking Dead season five will start on Sunday, October 12 at 9/8c on AMC.
