It’s a week jam-packed with movie goodness on The Plot Hole, as John, Steven and Simon run through the latest movie news, early festival buzz and review three new titles that landed in theaters this weekend.
First off, we report on some fresh superhero movie news beginning with a casting roundup for sequel Kick-Ass 2, which includes a certain famous comedian. Then it’s off to Marvel as we discuss the possibility of Dr. Strange appearing in Thor: The Dark World as well as a hint at who could play him. Last off, the rumor mill for Justice League continues with an update on the proposed Lobo film, potentially set to star Dwayne Johnson.
With TIFF is full swing, we next report in on early buzz for some of the festival’s biggest titles including Looper, Argo, The Master, Silver Linings Playbook and Cloud Atlas.
