On the heels of CBS, NBC and The CW have announced their Fall television schedules. NBC’s premiere week kicks off in late September, as expected, with The Voice on September 23rd and will stagger some of its premieres into the following week. Grimm and newcomer Dracula will be held off until October 25th as a special Halloween debut event.
The CW doesn’t get started till early October (in a move to avoid the packed network premiere week hoopla). The CW’s schedule kicks off October 7th with the return of Heart of Dixie. The strategy of premiering their shows on October seemed to launch the network’s hit Arrow, so the network is no doubt hoping that it will do the same for newcomers, The Tomorrow People, Reign, and The Originals. And yes, that is another season of America’s Next Top Model; hopefully the new co-ed competition format will make the tired model search show watchable again.
