As HBO’s Game of Thrones wraps its second season, Entertainment Weekly obtained (from showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff) the list of characters who will be introduced in the upcoming season.
It’s not the Flash-centric episode most viewers were probably hoping for, but it does introduce a Young Justice fan favorite from the comics. Plus, lessons in bad parenting!
Although the rightly titled “Blackwater” was centered on the battle that took place in the Blackwater bay and on the shores of King’s Landing, the real drama — which made the episode stand out — wasn’t so much about the battle as it was about what was unfolding around key characters, particularly what happened in the king’s castle, the Red Keep. The threat of death loomed above Tyrion, Cersei, Stannis, the Hound and Sansa until the arrival of mounted knights.
Syfy has canceled its long running sci-fi series Sanctuary. The show’s fourth season finale aired in December 2011 and there had been no word since on a possible fifth season.
Deadline Hollywood reports that the critically acclaimed (but low-rated) show Fringe has been sold in off-network syndication to Science, a channel owned by Discovery Communications.

NBC’s Grimm wrapped up its freshman season a few days ago with a finale that timidly tried to address some of the mysteries the show has been flirting with for the past seven months. The attempt was half-hearted, and only raised further questions without answering those that have been lingering around for the entire season.
