Premium Cable Dominates the Golden Globes

Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 70th Golden Globes Awards ceremony (and dinner) took place yesterday with a TV scorecard significantly tilted toward pay TV channels. HBO and  Showtime dominated the evening on the TV-side with five and four awards respectively.

Canadian Sci-Fi Series ‘Continuum’ Comes to Syfy

We first learned of the acquisition in August 2012, and finally tonight, the Canadian hit sci-fi drama Continuum will premiere on Syfy at 8 p.m., ushering in the programming block dubbed “Powerful Mondays” by the channel.
