“Heroic Origins,” Community’s second to last episode of season four, had the study group exploring their superhero style origin story. Abed tried to convince the group that fate was behind their meeting, while Jeff attempted to focus the group on their upcoming final. We also finally saw who was controlling Chang.
HBO favorite Game of Thrones and the new comedy Veep both set record numbers in ratings this past Sunday. HBO is certainly setting distinguishing itself from other networks in terms of great entertainment.
The popular new show Veep has been renewed for another season, after record breaking numbers in the third week of its second season. The show is a political comedy starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who won an Emmy last year for her role on the show.
Monroe continues his crazed power trip with an attempt to lure Miles into his hometown. Aaron is reunited with someone from his past. “Home” is an average offering of the improving series. Attempts to elevate the quality of the show are made, but overall it remains average sci-fi.
NBC will air a retrospective of The Office prior to the airing of the show’s final episode on May 16, 2013. It will feature cast members and producers speaking about the series, as well as offer behind the scenes looks at the show and old audition footage. Office producers Paul Lieberstein and Ben Silverman, showrunner Greg Daniels, and actors John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Mindy Kaling, Ed Helms, Angela Kinsey, Craig Robinson, Oscar Nunez and B.J. Novak are all slated to appear in the piece.
