Criminal Justice, a new crime drama, is set to air on HBO as a limited series. It will star James Gandolfini as a New York City attorney getting more than he asked for when he takes on the case of a Pakistani accused of murdering a girl on the Upper West Side.
A new event series is set to air on Fox during the 2014 season. The show is created by M. Night Shyamalan and stars Matt Dillon in the lead role as a Secret Service agent. The show is called Wayward Pines and is set in a small country town in Idaho.
Miles and Rachel’s past is explored in “The Longest Day,” making it one of the most enjoyable episodes of the season. The flashback provides anticipated information on the characters as well as providing contrast to their current states. With only three more episodes of Revolution left, the storylines begin to lead to a culmination.
NBC announced that Revolution, Parks and Recreation, and Community will return in the fall, but that the network will wait a few more weeks before deciding the fate of Hannibal. ABC announced that low-rated critical hit Happy Endings will be canceled, but there is still a chance the show will be picked up by cable network USA.
Fox has announced that Jack Bauer will return to the network in May of 2014 with the relaunch of a special 12 episode run of 24. The revived series will again star Kiefer Sutherland as the anti-terrorism hero Bauer, with additional casting to be announced later.
