Take-Two’s Evolve Delayed until February
The highly anticipated co-operative/asynchronous first-person shooter
Evolve has been delayed until February 10, 2015. It was originally slated for an October 2014 release but publisher Take-Two announced the delay as part of its regular earnings report today.
No specific reason has thus far been given for the delay.
Along with the recently delayed
Battlefield Hardline, the first quarter of 2015 gets more crowded with
Evolve joining the fray. Perhaps word of mouf from the PC alpha was another speculative reason the game got delayed. It does leave a crowded and competitive October where there's still plenty of great games out on the current-gen consoles.
