Supergirl is looking for its Superman

Supergirl fans might be wondering where Kara’s famous cousin has been, but the mystery will soon be solved. CBS has announced that they are looking to cast a younger version of Superman. Supergirl is aiming to reveal its version of Superman early next year. The twist is that fans will be meeting the superhero before he was dodging bullets or wearing a cape, instead we’ll be seeing him as a much younger character. According to TVLine, the show is searching for a 13-year-old actor with “future leading man looks." The young Superman is set to appear in episode 13, which will feature a variety of flashbacks that will help establish the relationship between him and Kara. Early this month, the show also announced that Blake Jenner (Glee) will be joining the show as a potential love interest for Kara, according to TVline. His character, Adam Foster, is set to appear around the same time as the young Superman. Jenner and Benoist were also co-stars in the last season of Glee.
