Shulk Confirmed for Super Smash Bros
During the Japanese Nintendo Direct this morning, we saw that
Xenoblade Chronicles was hitting the New Nintendo 3DS. That wasn’t all the
Xenoblade news today, because
Xenoblade hero Shulk was announced for
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
Shulk looks like he is using moves that can be learned in
Xenoblade, and he calls them out like he does in it too. One of his costumes has him in his underwear, something that you can do in game to all party members if you unequip all armor.
His Final Smash seems to bring in Dunban and Riki for a team attack, a device that can also be done in
Xenoblade (if they’re in your party).
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS launches on the 3rd of October and the Wii U one is still undated. Today, preorders for the amiibo figures for
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U have begun at many major gaming retailers. Both versions have been rated E10+, a first for the series.
