DC introduces Simon Baz by immediately throwing him in Guantanamo under suspicions that he’s a terrorist. No, really. I wish I was just making a bad joke.
The rightly-titled “When Push Comes to Shove” put Nina Theroux on center stage. The alpha with the hyper-induction ability “pushed” her way to the brink of auto-destruction in an episode that explored her past and her struggle with her mistakes. The story also flaunted the refreshing newcomer Kat who offered a lighter, and arguably more effective, mirror to some of Nina’s issues.
Artemis dead? Kaldur and Wally missing. Superboy’s going N.O.W.H.E.R.E. Why even make popular shows when DC never tries to gain new readers from them?
There are currently five Batman books? Is that too many? The right amount? Not enough?
The sequential release of the previously released Chew #27! Does the experiment Chew‘s creators started a year ago pay off or is this book not worth the second helping?
