Johns and Lee Crash Hero Complex Film Fest

Tired of movies at your Comic Con? Well how about some comics at your Film Fest? That’s right on June 11, at the Hero Complex a film festival for super hero movies, the duo will be dropping some earth shattering news about Superman both in the comics and other mediums. That’s the only hint they’re giving for now, but if you want to go (you know you do know) it’s just $45 bucks! You do get to watch Superman I and II before the panel in which Johns and Lee will also be dropping major news about the DCU in general. You’re next question is probably going to be, “Is PA going to cover this so I don’t have to go?” That’s a yes.

TMNT Officially Back!

IDW Publishing and Nickelodeon today announced that the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series, featuring the beloved “Heroes in a Half-shell,” will premiere in August 2011. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be back in action and ready to fight off evil once again, with an impressive creative team led by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman!

gearing up and briniging the big guns to promote this day.  But
aparenlty nobody does it better than the comic book shops in
California.

Midweek Sales Tuesday April 12

New Releases This Week for PS3 (3.28.11)

New games on the PlayStation
Network include a port of the original Sonic
the Hedgehog, the second part of the excellent Back to the Future: The Game, and the download re-release of the

DVD/Blu-ray DISCussion (New for 3.22.11)

It might be a disappointing week for new releases, but luckily there are a number of top re-releases, with Rob Reiner’s Stand by Me being the pick of the bunch. The Times of Harvey Milk, Our Hospitality and The Sandlot are also major highlights this week.

The Evolution of Alien Invasion Movies

Robert Kirkman and Rob Liefeld do The Infinite

Arriving in early August from Image Comics, The Infinite is an action-packed sci-fi book by writer Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead comic and executive producer of the hit AMC show, and artist Rob Liefeld, the man behind the popular Marvel Comics character Deadpool. In the future, the world has fallen to a villain
who has discovered time travel. A soldier named Bowen goes back to visit
his 19-year-old self, Bo, at a turning point in his life and to
persuade him and others to help defeat “The Infinite” and prevent
impending doom.
