Halo 2 Anniversary, part of
The Master Chief Collection that is coming out in November. The clip that was released today showcases more of the remastered custcenes done by Blur. We see Johnson, Miranda Keyes, The Arbiter, and of course Master Chief and Cortana in their new remade incarnations in these scenes.
343 Industries also announced the third of six maps getting the Anniversary overhaul, which is Zanzibar. Zanzibar was one of the first multiplayer maps revealed back in
Halo 2's original reveal and still is one of the favorites especially for objective-based modes like capture the flag and assault.
Microsoft yesterday released the first trailer for
Halo: Nightfall, the original TV series that is also coming out in November. Executive produced by Ridley Scott, this series introduces Jameson Locke as the events of this takes place between
Halo 4 and
Halo 5: Guardians. It will also go in-depth into his origins and lead up to how he shapes up in the highly anticipated sequel. Locke will also be a playable character in Halo 5 in some form, whether if it is in a campaign or a separate mode that is unknown.
November is gonna be a busy time for
Halo fans reconnecting back to the four mainline games, bringing back old memories in the
Halo 2 Anniversary maps, as well as see a different take of the universe by the one of the biggest names in sci-fi movies.
