After what seems like a never ending torrent of negative news the past week or so in regards to DLC we finally have some positive, and from Capcom no less
Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City, the first real big spin off for the long running horror shooter series in a while is slated to release next week on March 20th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Coming April 10th will be a free DLC mission involving Jill Valentine and her first encounter with Resident Evil 3s iconic bad guy; Nemesis. The story portion of the content will be set between Resident Evils 2 and 3 and contrary to what people have come to expect of late this will be available to everyone including those who buy used.
With the unrelenting rage of anger over how Street Fighter X Tekkens DLC has been handled this could very well be Capcom trying to make up for lost respect from their fans though here's hoping they realize it'll take more than a single free dlc mission to gain back several of their long time devotees who have or are considering shunning the studio until they make amends.
