Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin coming to PS VR this February
"Our favorite goggle-wearing psychic is back!"
You can use your brain...
Over ten years after its initial release,
Psychonauts is finally back!
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is a new standalone adventure for PlayStation VR coming February 21st. Whether you're a die-hard fan or new to the series, this game is probably one of the most exciting releases for PSVR to date.

... in VR!
Here is the story of
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin from
Double Fine's announcement made today:
"The story picks up exactly where it left off at the end of
Psychonauts, with Raz, Lili, Sasha, Milla, and Coach Oleander flying off to rescue Truman Zannotto, the Grand Head of the
Psychonauts. Their mission takes them straight into the heart of the Rhombus of Ruin — a mysterious part of the ocean as deadly as two Bermuda Triangles back to back!
When the rescue party itself is kidnapped and held prisoner in the Rhombus, Raz is immobilized and must use only his psychic powers to reunite his friends, reveal the identity of the mysterious kidnapper, and free Truman before the madness of the Rhombus consumes all their minds!"
Raz will have the abilities of clairvoyance, telekinesis, and pyrokinesis at his disposal. It should be pretty cool using these psychic powers in VR. I don't know about you, but I've always wanted to set things on fire with my brain.
If you haven't played the original
Psychonauts, fear not. As I mentioned previously, this is a standalone adventure made for newbies. However, I do highly recommend the original. It's one of the most unique platformers out there, and only $9.99 on the PlayStation Store
right now. The VR adventure should also satiate those eagerly awaiting
Psychonauts 2. So mark your calendars! Raz and crew return in
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin on February 21st.
