Polyphony Digital has leaked a photo of the disc art for the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5. Many people speculated that the game would miss its Q4 release window this year, but the fact that they have begun printing discs would suggest otherwise.
An improved version of the sleeper hit Sniper: Ghost Warrior is headed to the PS3 early next year, says developer City Interactive. Although the game originally released over the summer exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PC, PS3 owners will not need to worry about being left behind.
Previously exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers, from next week Hulu Plus will become available to all US PlayStation Network members, and you will no longer need an invitation to subscribe. The announcement was made along with news that Hulu Plus will also be available on select Sony BRAVIA TVs
Sony’s reality show on PSN, The Tester, has been picked up for another season. The show focuses on a group of young adults who compete for a job as a QA tester for Sony. Why is getting a grueling, mind-numbing, low-paying job in development hell a prize? I guess you’ll just have to tune in to The Tester to find out. The second season already premiered on November 2nd, so there is still time to become engaged in the story. If you are a Plus subscriber, the first episode has already been downloaded for you… that’s not unsettling at all. Will ‘Cyrus’ Powers won the first season and is reportedly enjoying his new life with Sony, so maybe its not all bad. It is a golden opportunity to get a better job within the gaming world. We’ll just have to wait and see if the new contestants can make something from nothing.
Ubisoft have announced exclusive download content for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood on the PS3. And not only that, the DLC will also be made available for free.
After last weeks big drop, this week is not quite as impressive. There is a new James Bond game and a new Dragon Ball Z title among the PS3 store releases. And only two new full titles for download on PSN, including the God of War Collection, which has been in stores for a while now so you could probably pick it up for a good discount if you looked around.
Samurai Warriors 3, original announced as a Wii exclusive, will now be making its way to the PS3. The PS3 version will be called Samurai Warriors 3Z, and will have improved HD graphics, some additional weapons, and extra story modes. On top of this the in game characters; Masanori Fukushima, Zen Ayago and Gracia will now be playable
Three PS3 titles have had there release dates confirmed today: MAG Escalation is an add-on for the PS3 exclusive online multiplayer shooter MAG. The add-on supports up to 96 players and acts as a separate in-game mode that puts Raven, SVER, and Valor up against each other at the same time. Starting November 2, Escalation will be available on the US PSN store for $9.99.
