than two weeks have passed since the release of the smash hit sequel
Portal 2, and developer Valve Software has already announced
and revealed the game’s first DLC pack. It has also been confirmed
that the new content, which should arrive this summer, will be
absolutely free of charge! That’s right, Valve is complementing their
new release with some early expansion that wont cost a dime. Little
information has been released but it is rumored that the DLC (which
remains to see an official title) will include a variety of new
single player and cooperative test chambers along with challenge
modes, leaderboards, new mutilplayer modes and more! Perhaps new bot
skins and accessories will be added or a new iteration of the game’s
web comic.

PSP Go is Dead… or is it?

It may not seem like much of a surprise to many, but Sony
Japan has now confirmed that they will cease production of the PSP Go, and that
all future sales will be limited to current stock. The reason that this may not
come as a surprise, is of course the current hype around the NGP
(Next Generation Portable).

On their official website, Sony Japan stated that the
discontinued production of the PSP Go is so they can focus on the successor of
the PlayStation Portable, which is set to see a retail release in Japan later
this year.

L.A. Noire: Exclusive PS3 Content?

A
bit of new media has been floating around regarding Rockstar Game’s
upcoming title
L.A. Noire.
The detective thriller has been in the spotlight for some time now
and it seems that there
could
be some exclusive content in store for the PS3 version. Apparently, a
few retailers including Amazon, Gamestop, and Walmart have put up a
new version of the PS3 game box with “exclusive content” featured
on the front. However, this box also contains the “Only on
PlayStation” badge as well so the authenticity of this packaging is
to be examined. Preorder bonuses have already been arranged but there
is no material on the game’s official site that suggests anything
related to PS3-specific content, but there could be some updates in
the works.
