Red Dead Redemption has announced their second paid DLC coming out this September 21st called, Liars and Cheats, for 800 Microsoft points or $10.  This new expansion will also include the Free Roaming pack which was originally supposed to be free but there are “restrictions on the numbers of free packs” they can give away.  Which is Microsoft’s way of saying we don’t want to give too much away for free, but thankfully instead of releasing both for a price they are just condensing it down to one.

PSN and Retail Releases for the Week of 8/31/10

After years of anticipation, Behemoth’s Castle Crashers is finally available on the PSN network. The distinct visual look and humor meld well with the side-scrolling beat-em-up with RPG elements. Up to four players can play at once and each player can build a character unique to their style. But unlike other games of its kind, don’t expect to beat it with your friends in one sitting. Castle Crashers takes quite some time to fully complete and rushing hurts the experience significantly so remember to take small bites and chew thoroughly. Sam and Max Episode 5 is now free with the purchase of the whole season. This is a good time to catch up if you’ve been away from the highly acclaimed point and click adventure for some time.

Dragon Age Ultimate Edition?

Rumors continue to gather over the speculation of a Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition. It was recently reported that the name had been leaked onto Gamestop’s site and hastily removed. The next DLC for Origins is Witch Hunt—a story arc that definitively concludes the end of the Origins story. It’s not out of the question to think that EA would like to keep the Ultimate Edition shrouded in mystery in order to help sales of the DLC. It is believed that The Ultimate Edition will include all of Origins cumulative DLC so in addition to Witch Hunt, players would get

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days (PS3) Review

The initial Kane and Lynch: Dead Men failed in a number of categories. Most detrimental to its existence was imprecise and incoherent gameplay that felt muddled from the start. Having to tell your computer-controlled ally what to do and where to go made the entire game into a bad escort mission, but developer lo-Interactive has taken some big risks in order to create the game they had originally envisioned and that meant embracing the franchise’s theatrical roots.
