After last weeks big drop, this week is not quite as impressive. There is a new James Bond game and a new Dragon Ball Z title among the PS3 store releases. And only two new full titles for download on PSN, including the God of War Collection, which has been in stores for a while now so you could probably pick it up for a good discount if you looked around.
Ubisoft have announced exclusive download content for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood on the PS3. And not only that, the DLC will also be made available for free.
Samurai Warriors 3, original announced as a Wii exclusive, will now be making its way to the PS3. The PS3 version will be called Samurai Warriors 3Z, and will have improved HD graphics, some additional weapons, and extra story modes. On top of this the in game characters; Masanori Fukushima, Zen Ayago and Gracia will now be playable
As Bethesda and Interplay continue to squabble over the rights of the Fallout license, gamers who started Fallout 3 back in 2008 have finally played through most of what the game and its DLC content has to offer. The stage is set for a new adventure to follow up one of the best action RPGs released in the past decade. Fallout: New Vegas takes players from Washington D.C. across the country to Nevada where the nuclear apocalypse was less severe. People have started to pick up the pieces and build a life similar to the wild west of the 1800s. Players must now adapt to their new surroundings and fight, help or become the new sheriff in town.
It’s almost Halloween, which means everyone is thinking about costume parties, candy, and their favorite scary movies. There are plenty of scary games too though, and we thought we’d get in the spirit of the season by talking about some of our favorites. Not all of these are necessarily horror games, but they at least have a spooky theme that reminds us of the season.
Three PS3 titles have had there release dates confirmed today: MAG Escalation is an add-on for the PS3 exclusive online multiplayer shooter MAG. The add-on supports up to 96 players and acts as a separate in-game mode that puts Raven, SVER, and Valor up against each other at the same time. Starting November 2, Escalation will be available on the US PSN store for $9.99.
