Sony Japan is developing rain, a new IP that was previously rumored and eventually confirmed at Sony’s Gamescom conference. A unique adventure/puzzle/platformer, rain follows the story of a young boy who becomes lost and invisible in a world affected by falling rain.

The major highlight of Capcom’s Gamescom conference today is an announcement of a new IP developed by Dontnod Entertainment. The game is called Remember Me and it is slated for a May 2013 release for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.

A Sony representative reported Friday that Playstation exclusive game The Last Guardian has not been abandoned and is still in development. The Last Guardian has already been more or less absent in gaming news, and no further information was released about the game. A 2012 release is still expected, but may not be realistic.
