‘Dungeon Defenders’ Set to Fuse Tower Defense and ARPG Gameplay

When
the Unreal Development Kit first was released it gave indie developers
access to the power of the Unreal Engine and opened the way for tons of
indie game developers looking to make the next big thing. One of the
first games to come out of the UDK was Dungeon Defenders, a
small but cool indie game that fused tower defense and action RPG

version of Dungeon Defenders is being expanded into a fully

Cryptic Screenshots Herald Bizarre New Game

Polish developer Flying Wild Hog is teasing a new shooter, exclusive to PC, that appears to have… Robots! And the future. And… Well, there isn’t a lot to go on. But so far, the concept art featured on their site looks amazing. While this isn’t exactly an announcement of definite things to come, the released teaser screenshot looks great, and seems to hint at a little open world cyber punk style gameplay, or at least a world that is thematically matched to that sort of thing.

Respawn Entertainment’s First Project Screenshot

Do you remember Respawn Entertainment, the guys who left Infinity Ward without most of the money they earned from Modern Warfare 2, and are still fighting Activision for it to this day? Well, they’re more than just a sensational story, they’re actually a game developer for EA. The surest sign of that so far just occured. Respawn has released an image of their new game, which is great! There is a catch, however. It’s so blurry that it’s impossible to make out any details whatsoever, and you can only see the most obvious things.

Achron: Hands On Preview

Time travel is one of the most interesting ideas that science fiction plays with, and dozens of films and books have been written about the possibility that you could go back in time and fix your mistakes. Tons of video games have used time travel as a plot device but very few have actually incorporated it as a mechanic (the only ones that comes to mind for me are Prince of Persia and Braid).
