Space Pirates and Zombies Review

If there’s anything I’ve noticed in PC gaming over the last decade, its the steady decline of space games. While adventure games underwent a similar decline in popularity, they’ve made a big comeback thanks to companies like Telltale bringing the joys of adventure gaming back to modern gamers. Rage to Be Powered by id Tech 5

Rage,
set to release in October, will be the first game powered by the brand
new graphics engine called id Tech 5.  If you’ve seen any of the
trailers you know this game looks spectacular.  The engine has been
designed to run Rage at 60 FPS and optimized to perform well
across all platforms.  The engine is very impressive as id Software’s
goal was to create unique landscapes with amazing textures.  The new MegaTexturing
technology allows for larger textures to be used so that artists don’t
have to rely on tricks to cover up the repetition of using smaller
textures for broad landscapes.  If you haven’t been following Rage, allow me to bring you up to speed.
